Hello. My name is Ben Renfroe. First, let me say thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. The purpose of this blog is to help people with their joint pain and share my own experiences dealing with chronic joint pain and gout.
About Us
My wife Lee is the proprietor of this little piece of the world wide
web. I help her out. But really, my joint pain is the reason we're here as
you will soon find out. Lee Renfroe has a doctorate in Health Promotion
and is a full-time professor at The University of North Alabama. I have
BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. I am retired from
the U.S. Air Force.
Two months ago I would never have believed I would be writing my own
blog. I'm 62 years old and, frankly, didn't think I much cared for blogs
and such. But several weeks ago...things changed.
And so begins my joint pain story. Or should I say my joint pain relief story?
I was a competitive runner, an avid hiker and biker and, in general,
an active person. About seven years ago, I started having knees, feet and
back pain. Some of it due to overuse over the years, some of it
heredity and some of it due to the ravages of chronic gout (more on gout
in future blog posts). Regardless, little by little, year by year the
pain became worse. Slowly but surely I had to give up activities as my
joint pain had become so bad. The first to go was running, followed by
hiking and exercise walking and finally, biking. I was to the point where
I had to go up and down stairs sideways. I was having trouble
sleeping and just having trouble with day-to-day activities. I wasn't a
sour puss, but my attitude had deteriorated...my wife knew it, my kids
knew it and I knew it.
Then it all changed...
As I said, about six weeks ago, things changed. I had just gotten over
yet another gout attack in my left knee. Two of my wife's tennis friends
told her about PainAway for joint pain relief. They had been telling
her what it had done for them, so I reluctantly decided to give it a
try. I say reluctantly because I have tried many things before with
literally zero results. I have even gone through physical therapy for joint pain relief. That too did absolutely nothing to relieve my knee pain. So I
was skeptical.
My Results
So I took one PainAway tablet between breakfast and lunch...one tablet.
Literally within 30-45 minutes my knee pain (my predominant pain area)
was 95% gone. I couldn't believe it. I had been suffering for years. I have been taking it every day since and my knee pain has stayed gone. I
am so thankful. Now I'm going on long walks, I'm hiking again (I'm
getting new hiking boots for Christmas :) and riding my bike. I easily
go up and down stairs again.
Our Why
Frankly, we just want to spread the word about PainAway. It so
profoundly impacted my life in a positive way and really my wife's, my
kids' and even my extended family's. We want to tell every person we can
about my experience, because there are so many people suffering with
joint pain.
That's it. Stay tuned. My goal is to provide more posts that relate to
joint pain relief and inflammation reduction. I also want to go deeper
into my experience with gout. I have suffered with gout for over
thirteen years, starting at age 49. I don't know the exact number, but I
figure I have had around 40 intensely painful attacks, so I think I
bring a unique perspective and some insight.
